Linda Strachan is the author of Spider and Dead Boy Talking. Spider was the winner of the 2010 Catalyst Book Award, it was also shortlisted for Falkirk Council’s Red Book Award and the Dumfries Burgh Book Award.

Linda’s presentations feature riveting accounts of the meticulous research she carries out for her novels, including accompanying paramedics and attending training sessions at the local fire station. In keeping with her fearless nature, Linda handed over the entire launch of ‘Dead Boy Talking’ to a group of secondary school pupils.
