

Keith was born in Edinburgh in 1965, moving to Bearsden, near Glasgow, when he started secondary school. He studied at Strathclyde University before moving to England to work, mostly in the financial sector, before he decided to pursue his dream of becoming an author.
His first hilarious adventure novel for ages 9-early teens, Lee and the Consul Mutants, was published in 2004. It went on to grab the no.1 spot in the The Herald’s Children’s Bestsellers chart in January 2006, at the same time as his second novel, Lee Goes For Gold, took the no.4 position. 2007 brought the launch of Lee’s Holiday Showdown.
Keith is in great demand as a presenter, typically presenting to about 150 schools each year in the UK and Ireland and appearing at numerous book festivals. He has a reputation as an inspiring and entertaining performer who ensures that everyone has a great time in the company of his books. He is currently working on a fourth LEE novel as well as a novel for adults.
